The recent widespread discovery of Carrier IQ rootkit on smartphones probably has you wondering if your phone has it.\u00a0 The process for detection and removal\/disabling it differs between phones, but either way you’ll want to make sure you take care of it.<\/p>\n

    To turn off Carrier IQ on iPhone:<\/p>\n

    1. Go to Settings.<\/li>\n
    2. Select General.<\/li>\n
    3. Select About.<\/li>\n
    4. Select Diagnostics and Usage.<\/li>\n
    5. Tap “Don’t Send”.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
