Want to countdown the end of days, according to the the Mayan calendar? You’re in luck! 2012 Countdown is a Chrome extension that counts the days down right to the second.<\/p>\n

This year is literally the last hoorah for the Mayans. Their calendar ends and no one will be talking about them, unless referencing a long dead civilization, after December 21, 2012. 2012 Countdown displays a count down of days until the world ends. A small stopwatch-like icon is adhered to the add-ons area that when clicked displays the time remaining.<\/p>\n

Options are pretty simple, just like the extension itself, in that dates can be arranged in differing orders and there is an alternate icon choice. The extension isn’t meant as a doom and gloom sort of item, it’s just a simple countdown clock specifically pointed towards the final date on the Mayans calendar which is December 21, 2012.<\/p>\n
