Facebook has taken a nice step forward in providing a more secure environment for users.\u00a0 Their introduction of https as a setting for accounts.<\/p>\n

How to set it up:<\/h3>\n

  1. First, log in to Facebook.<\/li>\n
  2. Click ‘Account’ in the upper right hand corner of your Facebook page.<\/li>\n
  3. Select ‘Account Settings’.<\/li>\n
  4. Find ‘Account Security’ (3rd from the bottom) and click ‘change’.\n

  5. Check the box under ‘Secure Browsing (https)’.\n

  6. Click the ‘Save’ button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    That’s all there is to it!\u00a0 Now your Facebook browsing will be more secure and there is less need for worry when checking status updates at the local coffee house.<\/p>\n

    For those who enjoy playing the multitude of games offered through Facebook, you will be prompted to stop using https during gameplay.<\/p>\n
