Strike is an app designed to assist in accomplishing tasks. The web app is a simple box. Users start by creating a list, then add tasks to the list. Nothing fancy here, just straightforward input of text. There’s no need for registration or sign-up and the web app is absolutely free.<\/p>\n
Strike is an excellent way to put project tasks into a clearly visible task list. The tasks can be reordered for sequential completion and there are several display options for showing completed tasks. Task descriptions can be as long or short as needed, as the text will wrap inside the display frame. During our tests we used paragraphs as tasks and they displayed completely.<\/p>\n
Strike is an adequate collaboration tool as well. For each list, a URL is automatically generated for sharing with others. Creators of the list can then forward the link to their partners and all parties can either add, delete or mark complete the tasks. Strike conveniently stores who edits the list so as to reference and keep track of changes. The web app asks for a name, but users can use nicknames or any old handle, so no privacy concerns to speak of. If a task or part of the list involves going offline, Strike app provides a print option which details the entire list of both finished and incomplete tasks as well as the URL.<\/p>\n
