Additionally, you cannot complete all Lost Relic assignments unless you have first finished <a title=\"A New Order Walk-through [Skyrim]\" href=\"https:\/\/geekitdown.com\/a-new-order-walk-through-skyrim\/\">Gunmar<\/a> side quests and Sorine&#8217;s first Ancient Technology side quest.<\/p>\n<p>Gunmar&#8217;s side quests do become tedious and they must be completed between each Lost Relic quest from Florentius.<\/p>\n<h3>How to retrieve the Dawnguard Lost Relics<\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Dawnguard Rune Hammer<\/span><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Speak with <a title=\"Bolstering The Ranks [Skyrim]\" href=\"https:\/\/geekitdown.com\/bolstering-the-ranks-skyrim\/\"><strong>Florentius Baenius<\/strong><\/a> to initiate the quest.<\/li>\n<li>Travel to <em>Hag Rock Redoubt<\/em>, located southwest of <em>Markarth<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Follow the southern path to reach Hag Rock Redoubt Ruins entrance.<\/li>\n<li>Head straight and up the spiral staircase.<\/li>\n<li>Take the northern path.<\/li>\n<li>Retrieve the <strong>Dawnguard Rune Hammer<\/strong> from the chest.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5910\" title=\"Skyrim Dawnguard Rune Hammer\" alt=\"Skyrim Dawnguard Rune Hammer\" src=\"http:\/\/geekitdown.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/skyrim-dawnguard-rune-hammer.jpg\" width=\"259\" height=\"298\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Return to Florentius Baenius at <em>Fort Dawnguard<\/em> to complete Lost Relic.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Dawnguard Rune Shield<\/span><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Speak to Florentius Baenius to initiate the quest.<\/li>\n<li>Travel to <em>Lost Echo Cave<\/em>, located north of <em>Volskygge<\/em> and west of <em>Solitude<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the cave and move towards the end of the path.<\/li>\n<li>Activate the <em>Ceremonial Brazier<\/em> to the right of the table to open a secret passage at the back of the cave. [notice type=&#8221;green&#8221;]<strong>Tip<\/strong>: Harvest glowing mushroom, which is needed to activate the brazier.[\/notice]<\/li>\n<li>Make your way to the back of the cavern, fighting off any Falmer you encounter.<\/li>\n<li>Inside a Falmer Hut is a chest. Retrieve <strong>Dawnguard Rune Shield<\/strong> from the chest.<\/li>\n<li>To the left of the hut is a passage. Activate the handle on the left side entrance to the passage to reveal an exit shortcut.<\/li>\n<li>Return to Florentius Baenius at Fort Dawnguard to complete Lost Relic.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #993300;\">DawnGuard Rune Axe<\/span><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Speak to Florentius Baenius to initiate the quest.<\/li>\n<li>Travel to <em>Uttering Hills Camp<\/em>, located west southwest of <em>Windhelm<\/em> and north of <em>Gallow&#8217;s Rock<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Enter Uttering Hills Camp and move through the camp and down the stairs towards the living area.<\/li>\n<li>Take the 1<sup>st<\/sup> right.<\/li>\n<li>Open the door on the right and enter the room to find a chest.<\/li>\n<li>Retrieve <strong>Dawnguard Rune Axe<\/strong> from the chest.<\/li>\n<li>Return to Florentius Baenius at Fort Dawnguard to complete Lost Relic.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Additional rewards<\/span><\/h5>\n<p>The Dawnguard reward with equipment instead of gold. The items are random so there&#8217;s no way to tell what you&#8217;ll receive.
