To get started users need to authorize GoFileDrop with their existing Gmail account. Afterwards, users can access a GoFileDrop admin area which provides a link to a specific GoFileDrop webpage where others can send files to users.<\/p>\n

Anytime someone drops a file in your Google Drive account, an email is sent to you as notification of the delivery.<\/p>\n

GoFileDrop uses the Google Apps Engine and uses SSL encryption for logins. GoFileDrop has no access to your Gmail or Google Drive account beyond simple authorization of integration. Files sent to Google Drive are not stored by GoFileDrop which means files are dropped directly to the Google Docs account and the trail ends there.<\/p>\n
