2012 Countdown

This year is literally the last hoorah for the Mayans. Their calendar ends and no one will be talking about them, unless referencing a long dead civilization, after December 21, 2012. 2012 Countdown displays a count down of days until the world ends. A small stopwatch-like icon is adhered to the add-ons area that when clicked displays the time remaining.

Options are pretty simple, just like the extension itself, in that dates can be arranged in differing orders and there is an alternate icon choice. The extension isn’t meant as a doom and gloom sort of item, it’s just a simple countdown clock specifically pointed towards the final date on the Mayans calendar which is December 21, 2012.
