The specific details haven’t been leaked, but basic information about the DLC, labeled Extended Cut, was revealed. Taken from the announcement,

“Through additional cinematic sequences and epilogue scenes, the Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut will give fans seeking further clarity to the ending of Mass Effect 3 deeper insights into how their personal journey concludes.”

That means the DLC will contain extended movie footage without gameplay. The Extended Cut is still considered a class move by BioWare to appease fans of the Mass Effect series, but will undoubtedly receive even more criticism for excluding gameplay from the DLC pack.
