You may have noticed that firing weapons is somewhat cumbersome in Assassin’s Creed 3. It’s not so much an issue as it is bothersome. In order to fire off powder kegs and shoot at enemies you first have to aim. Here’s how to aim and fire in Assassin’s Creed 3.
For this explanation we’re using the Powder Kegs example since it appears fairly early on in the game.
- First, aim your weapon with LT (Xbox) / L1 (PS3).
- Move your aim directly at the powder kegs.[notice type=”green”] TIP: The small circular target should be colored white if you are aimed accurately at the powder kegs. [/notice]
- Fire by pressing Y (Xbox) / Triangle (PS3).
That’s all there is to it. The trick is to make sure the white targeting circle is white, not red to ensure you’re firing at the specified target.
