Businesses can also customize their pages with photos, descriptions and specials. Included with the account are statistics for monitoring traffic to the virtual barHappy space.

Personal accounts are available as well. Through barHappy points and badges, users are able to build a reputation throughout the community. Top members edit and add new establishments to gain more points and thus promoting their own stature in the barHappy community. Personal accounts have access to search features that serve to narrow down results and pinpoint specific types of settings. Options include location, atmosphere, drink specials and others for delivering personalized results.

Unlike the name, barHappy is not entirely about bars though nightlife is the main focus. Users will find there are a number of restaurants and clubs which are not specifically focused on the consumsion of alcohol. BarHappy boasts a community of more than 15k at the time of writing this.
