If nightlife is what you’re after, then barHappy can likely help. BarHappy is a free web service and mobile app that delivers up to date information about bars, restaurants and clubs.
BarHappy has built their online community of establishments from many of the major cities across the United States. Notably, New York, Los Angeles, Miami and Las Vegas are included along with several other large U.S. cities. Businesses are able to create free accounts which afford them the opportunity to manage content in real-time and provide would be guests with current specials, extended hours and daily promotions. Businesses can also customize their pages with photos, descriptions and specials. Included with the account are statistics for monitoring traffic to the virtual barHappy space.
Personal accounts are available as well. Through barHappy points and badges, users are able to build a reputation throughout the community. Top members edit and add new establishments to gain more points and thus promoting their own stature in the barHappy community. Personal accounts have access to search features that serve to narrow down results and pinpoint specific types of settings. Options include location, atmosphere, drink specials and others for delivering personalized results.
Unlike the name, barHappy is not entirely about bars though nightlife is the main focus. Users will find there are a number of restaurants and clubs which are not specifically focused on the consumsion of alcohol. BarHappy boasts a community of more than 15k at the time of writing this. The barHappy app is available for iPhones via the App Store.
