When being nice won’t work, it’s time for an open letter. My Open Letter lets you get those frustrations out by writing up your thoughts and addressing them to the one who’s drawn your ire.

Sometimes we just need to get things off our chest. It may be because someone has wronged us, or maybe even because we’re frustrated with a situation. Either way, letting it all out can sure do wonders in terms of letting things go. Even those of us here at GeekITDown have our own way of letting loose once in a while with a good Rant.

My Open Letter operates just like writing an email, except it’s entirely web based. Enter in your name or however you wish to be addressed, a recipient’s name and the content of your vent. The interface has all the typical word processing filters along with table insertion, flash addition and link anchoring. If you’ve already written the open letter offline, then you can copy and paste the information directly.

If you want to gain support for your cause, My Open Letter has the option to allow comments. Comments will definitely get your letter noticed and could facilitate a response from the intended recipient. Once you’ve finished, simply publish the open letter and you’re done. There are a lot of aggravations in the world, but My Open Letter acts as a nice pressure valve release.
