DivShare: Store And Share Data In The Cloud

DivShare

DivShare is a media delivery system designed to make sharing content easy. Sharing is the buzz word these days and everyone is doing it. We share videos, photos, documents and just about anything we can. Cramming all those things onto the net takes space and a little know how if you want to embed information in a blog or website. DivShare is one of the best at simplifying the sharing process.

Like any cloud service, DivShare is utilized by uploading videos, photos and documents to an online account. The files are accessible from any location because the service is accessed through the web, so any browser will do. Some users may find that DivShare is great as an online backup solution while others may use the service as a place to store large quantities of files for use on other areas of the web.

DivShare is ideal for sharing your files. Links are created for simple peer to peer sharing while embed codes add a webmaster dynamic to the mix. Embed codes can be used to embed videos and other information directly into your blog or website. The simple code means no hassle and very little effort to make your article or webpage dazzle. DivShare automatically converts files to flash for easy sharing and codes are available in 5 different formats which include embedded objects, download links, hotlinks, forum and email formats.

The interface for DivShare is as important as the service itself. The clean design separates all files by type with an option to sort the information by date/time, meaning data never gets misplaced. DivShare goes beyond simple organization with the option to create playlists with audio files or slideshows with photos. If it’s uploaded to the DivShare account then it’s fair game.

Obviously, with any cloud storage solution, security is a concern. DivShare allows password protection of folders as well as control settings for visitors. Control settings enable users to determine which visitors can view the content or access files. DivShare offers tiered accounts with choices of free, personal and professional. The free account comes with 20GB of storage. We’ve only touched on the many features and uses DivShare offers, but at a cost of free it won’t take much effort to investigate the rest for yourself.
