Quality in photos isn’t natural. In fact most popular photographs are in one way or another edited to enhance image quality or hide imperfections. That’s why photo editing tools are so plentiful. Citrify is another such tool focused on imperfection correction.
Why Citrify?
Many photo editing tools are large packages of both complete photo manipulation and image touch up tools. Citrify focuses on the latter with features for blemish correction, wrinkle correction, lighting adjustments and other practical photo touch ups which can improve the quality of the subject itself.
By focusing on the content of the photo, Citrify brands themselves as a quick touch up solution. Specifically, users who want to correct face and head shots will find Citrify easy to navigate and manipulate with their tools.
The interface is clean and very simple to get the hang of. Images are uploaded from a user’s computer and from there the image is ready to be edited.
What Citrify Is not
Citrify is not an all in one solution for photo editing. Users cannot manipulate the image itself as with many other online photo editing tools. For instance, the crop tool isn’t available. Additionally, there are a limited number of filters, though Citrify does provide some fun stickers for adding character to photos.
Citrify is also not a social hub or sharing platform for your images. That means there are no automatic sharing features or options.
Summary
If you’re looking for a full fledged photo editing tool, then look elsewhere. If what you want is a very easy, quick photo editing touch up tool, then Citrify is the right choice. The touch up and photo correction tools are sufficient though the lack of basic crop tool is inconvenient.
Overall, the website performed the task as expected and functionality of the tools was accurate. While not a complete online photo editing software option we do recommend it for anyone who wants to quickly make face and head shot photos more appealing.
