Router

Router by Sammyland is a puzzle game where the object is to connect dots in the shortest distance possible.

Router puzzles are displayed on a rectangular grid which may or may not have sections cut from the rectangle depending on the puzzle. Each puzzle has several colored dots placed on the grid in predetermined locations. The objective is to connect like colored dots with a line in the shortest distance possible.

Dots are connected by dragging a finger across the screen from one dot to the other. Dot connections cannot overlap and every dot must have a connection. Upon completion of a puzzle, Router delivers a score to let users know how well they did. Scores are based on shortest distance between connections. Ratings are on a 1-5 scale and since there are multiple solutions to each puzzle, the scores will vary until each is perfected.

App Roundup Router Chapters

Router comes with multiple chapters each holding 25 unique puzzles. Difficulty increases as puzzles and chapters advance with added colored dots and changes to the rectangular grid. There’s also a leaderboard for displaying high scores. If you enjoy puzzles and brain teasers, then Router is definitely worth the $1.99 cost.  For those unsure about purchasing Router, Sammyland offers a Router Lite version which is free, but limited. Router is available for Android devices for $1.99.
