Summer is just about upon us and soon residents everywhere will start seeing yard sale signs. It’s a time honored tradition among home owners and a great way to make a small amount of cash for unwanted things. On the flip-side are the yard sale hunters. They travel between yard sales looking for great bargains and obscure items that can’t be found anywhere else. A nice resource for locating yard sales is the website Yard Sale Search.

Yard Sale Search is like a bulletin board full of upcoming yard sales. Those who plan on having a yard sale can post to Yard Sale Search by simply entering their address. Yard Sale Search provides a map automatically to give searchers convenient directions. Along with an address, posters will list yard sale dates and can briefly detail what visitors can expect (ie Tools, Holiday Decorations, etc.).

Those in search of yard sales have an even easier time. With roughly a few clicks, Yard Sale Search narrows down the yard sale possibilities by state and city. We punched in our home base in Florida and found 6 right away even before expanding the search to surrounding towns or cities. Along with personal yard sales, we found several sponsored yard sales from Churches as well.
