Doodle
Are you a busy person that has to schedule many things, but find it hard to commit because of scheduling conflicts? Doodle might be a way for you to eliminate a lot of confusion and in the process inform everyone of your availability.
Doodle is probably as simple a scheduling tool as you’re going to find. You simply enter in a poll with title, time blocks and dates and you’re off an running. Participants and invitees tick off boxes as to their availability. When all parties involved have overlapping times, then poll creators know exactly which time block to plan the event, meeting, lunch date or whatever.
Participants add their names to distinguish which people prefer which times so those most important to the success of the event are separated from those who are simply attendees. The interface is slim and straightforward, easy to read and understand and users can add a comment to their selections. For instance, there may be multiple times a participant can attend, but one of them is more agreeable. The participant would check off both times and add a comment stating that they prefer time/date A.
Doodle does support its free service via ads. They aren’t overly bothersome, but if you prefer a cleaner look , then Doodle offers premium subscription options that are ads-free. The pricing is dependent upon number of users with the minimalist option equaling 1 user at $39/year.
