Google Voice received an update yesterday which now allows users to prefetch their voicemails. The feature will make voicemails available when data coverage isn’t possible, great for the roaming individual or mobile business person.
Along with voicemail is a text messaging update. Google Voice now supports sending text messages to multiple recipients. Most users have come to expect sending texts to multiple numbers, but the addition to Google Voice means that their one step closer to being a full fledged replacement for a typical cell device.
Google Voice is free and available to anyone with a Google account. To access it, just login to your Google account and add it to your Products section and sign up or access Google Voice directly.
