Hooeey is a web app that records your web surfing. As you click links across the web, Hooeey records your history, or ‘hops’ as they call it, and saves the data so you can retrieve it later. We click links probably more than anything else we do in a day, whether they’re from bookmarks, email, social networks or elsewhere, links take us where we need to be on the web so having Hooeey record and save our web travels can really save time.
Hooeey goes beyond just recording our ‘hops’ with features such as, tagging, sharing and browsing statistics. With use of a browser toolbar or button, Hooeey records your web ‘hops’ and stores them in your online Hooeey account. Tags and ratings can be added immediately or later, even if you are offline. Retrieval of links is done through the online account interface which is also where the organizing takes place. Hooeey’s statistics feature provides users with several graphs which illustrate browsing habits that are sorted chronologically so you can research a time in the past or just hours ago. Hooeey is a new way to manage your online browsing and aims to make bookmarks seem almost irrelevant.
