LogMeIn Free App For iOS

Home / Blog / Tech / Apple / LogMeIn Free App For iOS
By chief_geek

How does having the ability to control your desktop computer remotely, from anywhere, for free via an iPhone or iPad sound? If it sounds too good to be true, then you’re wrong. LogMeIn is one of the more popular options in the world of remote access applications and now offers a free version of the app for iOS.

LogMeIn Free App Features

The free iOS app provides remote access to computers, retrieve and edit files and remotely run applications. The app works with both Mac and PC and is ideal for the computer tech on the go or the go to tech person in the family.

The free app is more than enough for average remote sessions and is very handy for quickly managing tasks or retrieving files not matter where you are. While the free app is convenient for handling everyday remote tasks, other more advanced features are available in the LogMeIn Pro version.

In order to remotely access computers, each system will need to have the LogMeIn program installed. You can download the desktop application from the LogMeIn website.

Download LogMeIn Free from iTunes.

LogMeIn Pro Upgrade Features

The Pro version allows integration with various cloud services, remote printing and other features. If your expectation is to use LogMeIn as a primary remote access tool on your iOS device then the Pro version upgrade might be worth the $30. The upgrade can be done in-app so there’s no need to install multiple apps.
