Following the return of Serana and rejection of Lord Harkon’s offer, the path of the Dawnguard is set in motion. Now that you’ve decided to join the Dawnguard, it’s time to get started.
A New Order
- Travel to Fort Dawnguard.
- Speak with Isran to be tasked with finding recruits.
Recruit Gunmar
Gunmar can be appear in different locations so your mission may differ. For this walk-through the directions focus on Pinepeak Cavern.
- Travel to Pinepeak Cavern, located northwest of Ivarstead.
- From Ivarstead, move through town north then northwest across the stone bridge towards High Hrothgar. Just after the bridge and before the steps, turn north to Pinepeak Cavern.
- Speak with Gunmar.
- Help Gunmar defeat a bear inside Pinepeak Cavern.
- Speak with Gunmar.
Recruit Sorine Jurard
- Travel west to find Sorine Jurard. She is located north of Dragontooth Crater and south of Mor Khazgur at about the midway point.
- Speak with Sorine. [notice type=”green”]Tip: She wants to find her Gyros before moving on. They are located in a satchel on the river bank (near a tree) almost directly behind the structure she’s standing at.[/notice][notice type=”blue”] Note: Satisfying her Gyro fixation does not change the outcome from the conversation.[/notice]
- Return to Fort Dawnguard to complete A New Order and begin Prophet.
