Flup
If you have a lot of contacts spread across different resources, then you know how inconvenient it can be when you need to search multiple locations for contact information. A new option is Flup. Flup combines all your different contact lists and creates one unified master list.
Service
Flup is currently in beta and relatively new. The concept is to take contacts from places like Google and LinkedIn, mobile devices and other online/cloud accounts and combine them together so your contacts are always synced.
The service is free with no mention of a paid or pro version on the horizon. Flup uses tags to enhance organization of contacts and recently instituted a respect feature designed to facilitate a social aspect to the service. As a contact management tool, the respect feature seems unnecessary. We’d like to see more descriptive explanations of the service for prospective users along with a things to come type page.
